Gulf Coast

FLORIDA / LOUISIANA

The Gulf Coast offers a rich and diverse region for seafood and culture, much of which influences the menu at Smack Shack. The freshwater from the Mississippi pours into the Gulf of Mexico from which crabs, finfish, oysters and shrimp are harvested. In addition to the seafood offerings, the Gulf Coast and New Orleans low country cuisine influences both the food and the drink menus at Smack Shack from Po’Boys and gumbo to our fresh ingredient made daiquiris.

Known for deep, cold waters from the Gulf of Maine, the East Coast is where Smack Shack gets all of our lobsters, flown in fresh from Greenhead Lobster in Stonington, Maine. The East Coast is also a source for oysters, striped bass and fluke. One of the most popular items at Smack Shack from the East Coast comes from Baltimore, Maryland, OLD BAY Seasoning.

Pacific Northwest Coast

WASHINGTON / ALASKA / CANADA

Just off the shore from Seattle a great variety of pacific salmon, halibut, herring and oysters are fresh caught daily and sold in the famous Pike’s Peak Fish Market. Further west, Alaska has the most coastline of any state and its cold, deep waters bring us many varieties of seafood including Alaskan King Crab and Wild Alaska Salmon. To the North, the coastline of Canada’s Pacific Northwest offers many varieties of oysters.
